file has alternate data streams. If you copy the WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe
file to a NFS shared folder by using Microsoft Client for
NFS, you will see the following two
files:
CAUSEThis behavior occurs because the NFS protocol does not support
NTFS alternate data streams. Therefore, the NFS file system cannot preserve the
alternate data streams information.
