Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision 4.0 and Microsoft Navision 4.0 are now part of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0. All references to Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision or to Microsoft Navision 4.0 pertain to Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
When you perform a mail merge by using an Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) connection to a non-English version of a Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision 4.0 database, Microsoft Navision does not display the list of available tables. At the same time, you receive the following error message:
Could not obtain the table list from the existing datasource.
This problem occurs because the mail merge uses the table caption instead of the original table name to retrieve data from the tables.
