FIX: An assembly that uses the System.Data.SqlXml namespace may be dynamically rebased and reloaded after you use the Native Image Generator (Ngen.exe) tool in the .NET Framework 2.0Article ID: 912365 - View products that this article applies to. On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario:
CAUSEThis problem occurs because the System.Data.SqlXml namespace contains an incorrect public key token in the .NET binding infrastructure (fusion) unification table. The public key token is changed to the ECMA public key token. However, the System.Data.SqlXml namespace still uses the Microsoft public key token. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 service pack that contains this hotfix.To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to obtain the hotfix.
