CAUSEThis problem is caused by a problem in the hibernation driver in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, press any button on the Media Center remote one time. Then, press the STANDBY button to put the computer into standby. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
