However, the SCardGetStatusChange function does not report the SCARD_STATE_INUSE status in the dwCurrentState field of the SCARD_READERSTATE structure for the smart card reader. This problem occurs most frequently when the following conditions are true:
CAUSEThis problem occurs because of a coding error in the Scard module. This coding error causes the reader state flags to be read from the wrong location.
