When an application subscribes to query notifications by using Microsoft ADO.NET 2.0, some notifications may not be received. This problem occurs even though the notifications have been received from the message queue on the computer that is running Microsoft SQL Server. The problem occurs when there is a delay of more than five minutes between the time when the subscription is requested and the time when the notification is fired on the database server.
