On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You run a script to force the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) agent to back up event logs. Additionally, the Action account is configured to run as the local system account. However, the MOM agent does not back up the event logs as expected. The MOM agent may also be unable to complete other tasks that use the Action account.
For example, the MOM agent does not perform a system state backup in this scenario. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
