HTML programs do not support non-English keyboard characters on a computer that is running the Korean version of Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
On This PageSYMPTOMSYou are using a computer that is running the Korean version of Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and that uses the Korean Input Method Editor (IME). In this case, the HTML programs that use the HtmlInput ActiveX control do not support non-English keyboard characters. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the ActiveX control that is used to enter text in HTML programs always uses the remote triple-tap functionality. The triple-tap functionality is used even when you use a keyboard.
RESOLUTIONUpdate informationAn update is now available from Microsoft to fix this problem. To install this update, visit the following Microsoft Windows Update Web site:http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com) This update changes the behavior of the ActiveX control so that keys do not invoke the triple-tap behavior except when you press the following keys:
