This problem occurs if the country code is the same as the first digits of the telephone number. CAUSEThis problem occurs only for countries without area codes. When the telephone number starts with the same digits as the country code, the country code will not be added automatically.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, manually enter the country code of problematic numbers.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.
