SYMPTOMS

The Automatic Updates service may increase memory consumption over time and may eventually become unresponsive. The memory consumption increases quickly if the Automatic Updates detection cycle policy is set to do detection frequently, such as every 2 hours.

RESOLUTION

Service pack information
