When you refresh a Web page in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Internet Explorer unexpectedly closes if the Web page contains a Microsoft Windows Messenger object.
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- Microsoft Office Communicator 2005 is installed on the computer.
- Communicator 2005 is not running when you refresh the Web page that contains a Windows Messenger object.
How to obtain the hotfix
This issue is fixed in the Communicator 2005 Hotfix Package that is dated July 18, 2006. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
