Users see outdated information or no data when users try to view free/busy information for a mailbox that is in a native-mode Exchange Server 2003 organization
On This PageSYMPTOMSYou move a mailbox between administrative groups in a native-mode Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 environment. After you do this, other users view free/busy information for the mailbox that was moved. These other users may see outdated information or hash marks that indicate that no data is available. This problem occurs when users access the affected mailbox by using non-Outlook clients exclusively, such as Outlook Web Access or the Auto Accept Agent. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article. However, the legacyExchangeDN attribute is not changed on the user account that is associated with the mailbox. In this case, the task that publishes free/busy information for non-Outlook users can randomly publish free/busy information to the wrong folder.
