SYMPTOMS

You use Outlook Web Access on a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. When you create a recurring appointment, the last instance of the series is not seen. Additionally, the last instance of the series is not seen when you accept a similar recurring appointment by using Outlook Web Access, the Auto Accept Agent, or a CDO program.

This problem occurs when all the following conditions are true:
The last instance of the series occurs on the first day of a month.
The local time zone is ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time). That is, the local time zone is Coordinated Universal Time + xx.xx hours, where xx.xx is the number of hours and minutes that the local time is ahead of Coordinated Universal Time.
You create the recurring appointment by using the End by option.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use the End after x occurrences option when you create the recurring appointment, where x is any numeral. Do this instead of using the End by option. In Microsoft Outlook, this option is available in the Task Recurrence dialog box, under the Range of Recurrence section.

STATUS
