CAUSEThis issue occurs when you configure your Xbox 360 console to display in widescreen format and the monitor or the TV that you are connecting to by using the VGA cable uses a Normal display mode with a 4:3 aspect ratio. To use a widescreen setting on an Xbox 360 console with a non-widescreen monitor or TV, the console automatically stretches the image to fill the screen.
