How to configure the keyboard for Canadian French layout in Windows XP

INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to configure the keyboard for Canadian French layout in Microsoft Windows XP.

To configure the keyboard for Canadian French layout in Windows XP, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type intl.cpl, and then click OK.
  2. On the Languages tab, click Details.
  3. On the Settings tab under Installed services, click English (United States), and then click Add.
  4. In Input language, select French (Canada). Then, under Keyboard layout/IME, select Canadian French.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Apply.

    You can see EN English (US) and FR French (Canada) under Installed services.
  7. Click OK two times.
  8. To change to the French (Canada) keyboard, click EN in the taskbar, and then click FR French (Canada).
