MORE INFORMATIONSometimes, you may want to change the Time Zone setting on many computers at the same time. This hotfix lets you change the Time Zone setting on a computer to the (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) time zone. After you install this hotfix, the following registry subkey is modified so that it uses Central Time time zone information: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation Important We recommend that you only modify this registry subkey by using this hotfix or by using another method or tool that does not modify this registry subkey directly. This registry subkey should not be modified by Registry Editor or by other tools that directly modify this registry subkey.
