The keyboard shortcuts do not function when you try to use them on a Microsoft keyboard

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use keyboard shortcuts on one of the keyboards that are listed in the "Applies To" section, the keyboard shortcuts do not function.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when another keyboard shortcut program is running. ATIkey is a startup program that you can use to change display configurations on ATI video cards by using a keyboard shortcut. EasyKey is another keyboard shortcut program.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, follow these steps:
1.Exit all the programs that are running.
2.Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, and then click OK.
3.On the Startup tab, click to clear the check box for the following startup items:
ATIkey
EasyKey
4.Click OK.
5.When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.
