You may be able to send Groove messages to other Groove users on
the Local Area Network (LAN) but not on other networks. In this case, there may be a problem with a proxy,
a firewall, or a router. Alternatively, there may be a proxy change to which Groove is not adapting.
Discuss this with the network administrator.
Consider the following scenario in Groove Workspace 2.5 and earlier versions of Groove. You use Groove on one network, put the computer into suspend or hibernate
mode, and then revive the computer on a different network. Groove Workspace does not
detect the changed connection information. In this case, you must exit and then restart
Groove.
Note This problem does not occur in Groove Virtual Office 3.0 or later
versions of Groove. We recommend that you upgrade to the most current version of
Groove.
If these methods do not resolve the issue, run
