Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • Consider the following scenarios.

    Scenario 1

In Microsoft Windows Explorer, you right-click a file, and then click Mail Recipient. You then add several recipients to the e-mail message in Outlook 2002 by typing the name of the recipients in one of the following boxes:
    • To
    • Cc
    • Bcc
Then, you press ENTER to select the e-mail addresses for the recipients. In this scenario, Windows Explorer stops responding (hangs) when you send the e-mail message.

    Scenario 2

In Microsoft Internet Explorer, you browse to a Web page. Then, you point to Send on the File menu, and then click Page by E-mail. You then add several recipients to the e-mail message in Outlook 2002 by typing the name of the recipients in one of the following boxes:
    • To
    • Cc
    • Bcc
Then, you press ENTER to select the e-mail addresses for the recipients. In this scenario, Internet Explorer stops responding (hangs) when you send the e-mail message.

      4. Click to clear the Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields check box.
      5. Click OK to close the Advanced E-mail Options dialog box.
