On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP, you set a Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) component to run as the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM user. When you do this, an Error event that resembles the following is logged in the System log:
DCOM got error "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. " and was unable to logon NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM in order to run the server: GUID
This problem occurs because Windows XP does not support registering classes from processes that have the RunAs named value set to the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM user.
