SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. A Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer has Utilities and SDK for Subsystem for UNIX-Based Applications installed. You use the SVR5 find utility on the computer. In this scenario, the utility does not search all subdirectories. For example, you run the following command from the /dev/fs/C/WINDOWS/SUA directory in Korn shell (ksh) using the find command from the base utilities:
$ /bin/find . -type d -exec ls -ld {} \; | wc -l
In this case, you may receive an output of "476".

However, you may run the following SVR5 find utility command:
$ /svr-5/bin/find . -type d -exec ls -ld {} \; | wc -l
In this case, you may receive an output of "2".

Note The expected behavior is to receive the same output when you run both commands.
