SYMPTOMS

When you use the Debug Diagnostics tool to analyze a memory dump file on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, you may receive an error message that resembles one of the following:
Error message 1
IISAnalysis.asp Failed 0x80004005 Line 257, Column 16
Error message 2
MemoryAnalysis.asp Failed 0x80004005 Line 3256, Column 2
Note The Debug Diagnostics 1.0 tool is included in the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Diagnostics Toolkit.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the Dbgeng.dll file does not load correctly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest version of the Debug Diagnostics tool. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, copy the Dbgeng.dll file and the Dbghlp.dll file from the \IIS Resources\DebugDiag folder to the \IIS Resources\DebugDiag\Exts folder.
