The deadlock occurs between the thread that is holding the COM activity lock and the thread that is holding the IUnkEntry lock. This problem is more likely to occur when a COM object is shared among different COM activities.

Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
