SYMPTOMSWhen you distribute a campaign activity by using the "E-mail via Mail Merge" functionality in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Microsoft Office Outlook, the "E-mail via Mail Merge" functionality does not work as expected.
When this problem occurs, the e-mail message correctly appears in the "Sent Items" folder. But the e-mail message does not contain a Microsoft Dynamics CRM tracking token. Therefore, the e-mail message is not created in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
CAUSEThis problem occurs because the c_wszUserEmailAddress localization string is incorrect in the MailMerge.cpp file. This string does not match the Word localization string in the "Word::MailMergeDataFields" object. RESOLUTIONThis problem is fixed in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Update Rollup 2.
