SYMPTOMS

When you try to run a Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) query by using Microsoft SQL Server 2005, you may receive an incorrect result. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • An MDX script is applied to a measure in the SELECT statement.
  • The SELECT statement contains a WHERE clause.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because SQL Server applies the MDX script at the incorrect path.

RESOLUTION

Service pack information
