Symptoms

When you calculate the cost per hour for salary pay codes for manufacturing labor cost entries in Microsoft Dynamics GP, the cost is calculated incorrectly. The cost is calculated by using 2,080 hours per year instead of the value that is entered in the Work Hours per Year field.

Installation information

To install hotfix 922067, follow these steps on a computer on which Microsoft SQL Query Analyzer is installed:

Note This hotfix applies only to the Spanish translated dictionary.
  1. Make sure that all users are logged off from Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains 8.0.
  2. Extract the hotfix file to a temporary location.
  3. Start SQL Query Analyzer.
  4. Open and then run the Mfg80hf50.sql query against each Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains company database.
  5. Copy the Iconmfg.cnk file into the Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains client folder.

    Note By default, the Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains client folder is the following folder:
    C:/Program Files/Microsoft Business Solutions/Great Plains
  6. Start Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains 8.0. When you are prompted to include new code, click Yes.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 on each computer on which Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains 8.0 is installed.

This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 Service Pack 2.
