You create and then publish a browser-compatible form by using Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007. You open the InfoPath 2007 form by using Microsoft Internet Explorer. You visit a different Web site, and then you click Back to return to the InfoPath 2007 form. In this scenario, the InfoPath 2007 form is reset. The data that you entered in the InfoPath 2007 form is no longer present. This behavior occurs if the following conditions are true:
CAUSEThis behavior occurs because of the way in which Internet Explorer requests the Web page that contains the InfoPath 2007 form. In the scenario that is described in the "Symptoms" section, Internet Explorer submits a GET request to obtain the Web page information when you click Back. This GET request obtains a new copy of the InfoPath 2007 form instead of retrieving the InfoPath 2007 form information from the Internet Explorer cache.
