Error message 503 is returned when a client computer tries to connect to an Office Live Communications Server 2005 server

SYMPTOMS

When a client computer tries to connect to a Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 server, the connection is not completed by the server, and the server returns error message 503. This problem occurs even if there are only a few connections to Office Live Communications Server 2005.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if one or more Live Communications Server applications are running on the server computer. When this condition is true, the Live Communications Server 2005 server takes a long time to process the request of the client computer.

RESOLUTION
