Article ID: 922899 - Last Review: October 24, 2008 - Revision: 2.1 An ISA Server 2004 or ISA Server 2006 Web chaining rule may not redirect requests to the specified portSYMPTOMSYou configure a Web chaining rule in Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 or Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006. However, the Web chaining rule does not redirect requests to the port that you specified. CAUSEThis problem may occur when you configure a Web chaining rule to use a port other than the default SSL port 443. The ISA Server Web chaining rule always redirects requests to the default SSL port 443 regardless of the port that you configure. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest ISA Server service pack.
