On This PageSYMPTOMSYou may experience one of the following problems on a server that is set to the Turkish locale:
CAUSEThis issue occurs because SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 misinterpret the uppercase and lowercase letter "i" in the Turkish language. Turkish has two versions of the letter "i," a version of the letter "i" that is dotted and a version of the letter "i" that is not dotted. In Turkish, the uppercase version of the letter "i" that is dotted is an uppercase "I" that is dotted. RESOLUTIONHow to obtain the hotfixThis issue is fixed in the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Service Pack 1 hotfix package that was released on December 11, 2007.
