The hotfix package fixes the following issues:
  • 922946  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922946/ ) When ISA Server 2004, Standard Edition receives lots of requests, the program stops responding to requests
  • 923322  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923322/ ) A large file download fails when an ISA Server 2004 SOCKS client computer uses passive mode FTP
  • 922899  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922899/ ) An ISA Server 2004 Web chaining rule may not redirect requests to the specified port
  • 923324  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923324/ ) Virtual memory allocation for the Microsoft Firewall service increases by as much as 512 MB in ISA Server 2004

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have ISA Server 2004 Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed on the computer.

Restart information

When you install this hotfix, the following services automatically stop and then restart. Additionally, any dependent services also stop and then restart.
  • Microsoft ISA Server Control
  • Microsoft ISA Server Job Scheduler
  • Microsoft ISA Server Storage
