SYMPTOMSWhen you try to process a ROLAP dimension two times in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services, Analysis Services may stop responding. This problem occurs when the ROLAP dimension has members that you defined by using the default values. CAUSEThis problem occurs because Analysis Services marks the ROLAP dimension as processed the first time that you process the ROLAP dimension. The second time that you process the ROLAP dimension, Analysis Services uses a different method to process the ROLAP dimension. Additionally, the ROLAP dimension is incorrectly locked. RESOLUTIONService pack informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SQL Server 2005.
