FIX: Error message when you configure an immediate updating transactional replication in SQL Server 2000: "Implicit conversion from datatype 'text' to 'nvarchar' is not allowed"

SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You configure an immediate updating transactional replication in Microsoft SQL Server 2000. The replication contains a table, and the table has hundreds of columns. CAUSEThis problem occurs when the synchronization
trigger definition for an updatable subscription is longer than 4,000
characters. The internal buffer for the trigger definition is limited to 4,000
characters. RESOLUTIONThe installer does not install this hotfix correctly on x64-based systems. This installation issue occurs when the following conditions are true:
