Consider the following scenario:
- You previously installed Microsoft Office Visio 2003.
- You install Microsoft Office Visio 2007 and enable the "Keep earlier versions" option.
- You start Visio 2007, and then close Visio 2007.
- You start Visio 2003, create a drawing, save the drawing as a template, and then close Visio 2003.
In this scenario, when you then double-click the template, Visio 2007 starts instead of Visio 2003.
To work around this behavior, start Visio 2003, and then open the template by clicking Open on the File menu.
