Additionally, the data series border may overlap another data series border more in Excel 2007 than in an earlier version of Microsoft Excel. CAUSEThis behavior may occur if the data series shares the border space with an adjoining data series. This behavior may occur in a column-type or bar-type chart. WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Use a smaller line style widthTo change the line style width for the data series, follow these steps:
Method 2: Reset the data seriesTo reset the data series, right-click the data series in the Excel 2007 chart, and then click Reset to Match Style. When you do this, the line style width and other data series settings will be reset to the chart style default settings.
