SYMPTOMS

When you try to build an application by using Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 together with Xoreax Software IncrediBuild, the application does not build.

This problem occurs when symbol information cannot be generated inside the name table.

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article.
