CRM. SYMPTOMSAfter you customize the lookup view of an activity in
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the lookup
view does not work as expected. Additionally, you
receive the following error message when you try to use the lookup
view: An error has occurred. For
more information, contact your system administrator. Error code:
0x80040248. For example, this problem may occur after you customize the Letter Lookup View and then add the Recipient column to this lookup view. This problem occurs when you try to use this customized lookup view. RESOLUTIONThis problem is fixed in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Update Rollup 2.
