When you copy a shape and then paste the shape into a Microsoft Office Visio 2007 drawing that has a theme applied to the page, the theme is not applied to the shape. Instead, the attributes of the shape do not change.

This behavior may occur even though the Apply theme to new shapes check box is selected on the Theme task pane.

To work around this behavior, reapply the theme to the page. Do this only when you want all the shapes on the page to have the same theme applied.
