Error message when you try to install a 2007 Office suite: "The install location you selected does not have 1596 MB free space"Article ID: 924745 - View products that this article applies to. SYMPTOMSWhen you try to install a 2007 Microsoft Office suite, you may receive an error message that resembles the following error message: Setup Warning
The install location you selected does not have 1596 MB free space. Free up space from the selected install location or choose a different install location. CAUSEThis issue occurs when there is insufficient free space on the hard disk to store files that are required to run the Setup program. The 2007 Office Setup program creates a local installation source. The Setup program copies the installation .cab files from the installation media to that location. If there is insufficient room to copy these files and to install the program, you cannot complete the installation. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, free some space on the hard disk. Alternatively, install the 2007 Office suite on a hard disk or a partition that has more free space.
