A callout event does not run as expected when the callout event occurs because of a workflow rule in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

The hotfix that is discussed in this article is unavailable for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

You use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 callout objects to subscribe to a pre-SetState callout event or to a post-SetState callout event. When the callout event occurs because of a workflow rule, the callout event does not run as expected. Additionally, no events are logged in the Application log. This problem occurs in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.

RESOLUTION
