Symptom 1: The Migration Wizard for Lotus Notes stops responding

You try to use the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Migration Wizard for Lotus Notes version 06.05.7745 to migrate some Lotus Notes users to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. When you do this, the wizard stops responding. When this problem occurs, you notice that the Notesmig.exe file uses 100% of CPU resources.

Symptom 2: E-mail messages are stuck in the Exchange.box file

When you use the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Connector for Lotus Notes version 06.05.7745, mail flow from Lotus Notes to Exchange is interrupted unexpectedly. E-mail messages are stuck in the Exchange.box file. When this problem occurs, you notice that the Lsntsmex.exe file uses 100% of CPU resources.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the latest version of the Exchange Server 2003 Migration Wizard for Lotus Notes or of the Exchange Server 2003 Connector for Lotus Notes, as appropriate for your situation.
