SYMPTOMS After you upgrade to Microsoft Windows Vista, Winlogon
notification packages do not work. CAUSE This issue occurs because Winlogon notification packages
are not supported in Windows Vista. RESOLUTION If your environment depends on a Winlogon notification
package, contact your independent software vendor (ISV) for a replacement. If
you are using a custom Winlogon notification package that you created, you can
create a new solution by using Service Control Manager (SCM) notifications or
the System Event Notification Service (SENS). For more information about the HandlerEx function, visit the following Microsoft Web page: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms683241.aspx
