You try to install the Data Migration Framework for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 on a computer that is running Microsoft SQL Server 2005. If SQL Server uses a case-sensitive collation such as Turkish_CS_AS, the Setup program does not finish and then rolls back the installation process. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
Fail to install the required database tables. Error: The specified schema name "DBO" either does not exist or you do not have permission to use it.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
