STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. MORE INFORMATIONWarning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk. If you use Outlook to schedule appointments, you have to enable the address book provider for the Microsoft CRM client for Outlook. Otherwise, the address book provider for the Microsoft CRM client for Outlook cannot determine the e-mail addresses of the scheduled appointments. The appointments will be missing from your calendar in Outlook. Registry keys that are created by the hotfixWhen you install this hotfix, the following registry entries are automatically created:

Value of "0"A value of "0" value means that the synchronization of the address book provider is turned off. Records will not be synchronized to the address book provider.Value of "1"A value of "1" means that any records that the user owns will be synchronized to the address book provider for the following entities:
Value of "2"A value of "2" means that any records that the user has access to in the business unit that the user belongs to will be synchronized to the address book provider. The records will be synchronized for the following entities:
Value of "3"A value of "3" means that all records that the user has access to in Microsoft CRM will be synchronized to the address book provider for the following entities:
Update Rollup 2This hotfix is included in Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. After you install Update Rollup 2, you have to manually add the registry entries to enable the functionality in hotfix 925780. However, if you installed hotfix 925780 before you installed Update Rollup 2, the registry entries are created automatically.To manually add the registry entries, follow these steps. Note These steps describe how to add the ABPAccount registry entry and the DWORD value for that registry entry.
