SYMPTOMS

You cannot use Speech Recognition in Windows Vista to select commands on floating toolbars in Microsoft Office. However, you can select commands on docked toolbars in Office.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because toolbars must be docked to use Speech Recognition to control them.
