On a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based computer, you are forced to replicate a large file from a Windows Server 2003 SP1-based computer across the slow network links, when small changes are made to the large file. For example, it is common for Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) users to establish a single base image and add more drivers to a .wim format file. Frequently, SMS users have to replicate files across Fractional T1 or the slow network links.
