The "Presend Callout" event and the "Preupdate Callout" event do not work as expected when the PreCalloutReturnValue value is Stop in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0Article ID: 926523 - View products that this article applies to. On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen the PreCalloutReturnValue value is Stop in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you experience the following symptoms.
Symptom 1You use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Software Development Kit (SDK) to create a Presend Callout event for an instance of an e-mail entity. When you run the Presend Callout event, the e-mail message is sent. However, you do not expect the e-mail message to be sent if the PreCalloutReturnValue value is Stop.Symptom 2You use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 SDK to create a Preupdate Callout event for an instance of an e-mail entity. When you run the Preupdate Callout event, the e-mail message is updated. However, you do not expect the e-mail message to be updated if the PreCalloutReturnValue value is Stop.RESOLUTION
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Update Rollup 3.
