This article describes the versions of Microsoft Windows and the versions of Microsoft SQL Server that are supported when you use different versions of Microsoft BizTalk Server.

The following table describes the operating systems and the versions of SQL Server that are supported when you use different versions of BizTalk Server:

Note All versions of BizTalk Server 2006 are supported on x64 operating systems. Only the Enterprise and Developer editions of BizTalk Server 2006 are supported in native 64-bit execution. All versions of BizTalk Server 2004, of BizTalk Server 2002, and of BizTalk Server 2000 are supported on x64 operating systems but are not supported in native 64-bit execution.
