Error message when you try to install the 2007 Office programs after you remove a prerelease version of the 2007 Office programs: "Error 1923: Service 'Office Source Engine' (ose) could not be installed"

SYMPTOMS

You remove a prerelease version of the 2007 Microsoft Office programs. If you then try to install the original release version of the 2007 Office programs, the installation is not completed successfully. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
Error 1923: Service 'Office Source Engine' (ose) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if another program is using a file that must be removed when you remove the prerelease version of the 2007 Office programs.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, restart the computer after you remove the prerelease version of the 2007 Office programs.
