MORE INFORMATIONAll settings for the junk e-mail filter are stored in each user's Outlook profile. Additionally, you can create and deploy initial lists of safe senders, of safe recipients, and of blocked senders to users. You can use the Custom Installation Wizard or the Custom Maintenance Wizard to configure the Outlook 2003 profile to load these default lists. These wizards are found in the Microsoft Office 2003 Editions Resource Kit (Ork.exe). If you do not have this resource kit, download it from the Microsoft Download Center. If the JunkMailImportLists registry entry for the junk e-mail filter lists is configured through a policy, the value will be 1. In this case, the lists are reloaded every time that Outlook is started. The registry entry may be configured manually, configured by using the Custom Installation Wizard, or configured by using the Custom Maintenance Wizard. In these cases, the filter lists are loaded the first time that Outlook starts after the registry entry is configured. Outlook then resets the registry entry to 0 (zero) so that the lists are not reloaded every time that Outlook starts.
